Lesa D. Fraker, MD, PhD, FACEP, FAARM  Medical Director

She is a board certified emergency medicine physician. She received medical school and surgical training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and emergency medicine training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. After ten years in Chicago, she moved to New Mexico, where she was the Chief of Staff and the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Holy Cross Hospital in Taos. She opened her first urgent care clinic – ultiMED, in Angel Fire, and has since expanded to Red River, Santa Fe and Rio Rancho. She became interested in the new field of anti-aging medicine and has completed fellowship training with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).





Dr. James Cardasis

James P. Cardasis, DO

Dr Cardasis is a graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1983.  He completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.  As a recipient of a grant from the National Health Service Corp, he practiced in the Appalachian region for several years before moving toTaos, NM where he stayed for the next 25 years .  He has board certification in both Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine, and has worked as a primary care provider in both private and rural community health centers.  He was also the Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Holy Cross Hospital in Taos.
